We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2020, at the age of 92, Betty J. Rennewanz (Kankakee, Illinois), born in Arcola, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe VanHorn and Mable VanHorn (Peeler); her husband Robert Rennewanz; her daughters, Debra Casteel and Linda Casteel-McCarter; her grandchildren, Sherry Carman, Steven Sittig, Rebecca "Becky" Sittig-Sisk and Alexander Rennewanz; her great grandchild Deanna J Carman; her siblings, William VanHorn, Jim VanHorn, Ruth Irene Trombley (Floyd Trombley Sr.) and Doris M. Whaley; her nieces, Theresa Borah-Kipka and Jennifer Phillips; and her stepson Mike Rennewanz.
She is survived by: her children, David (Betty Casteel), Scott (Sheila Rennewanz), Bonnie (Jerry Carman) and Gina (Wayne DeYoung). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private services will be held.
