It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benetter Peak (Kankakee, Illinois), born in Trenton, Tennessee, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Theodore Pelt; her son Alonzo Peak Jr.; and her sister Beulah Philips. She is survived by: her sisters, Nellie Bell Riley (Easter Bell), Jessie Lee (Jimmy McMillon), Delores (James Williams) and Julia Johnson of Tennessee; her grandsons, Antoine Peak and Robert Peak; and her cousin Lena Tripp of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
