We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2024, at the age of 95, Annie Vera Blue (Kankakee, Illinois), born in Charleston, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stanford Blue; her parents, Marion Hoover and Lucinda Hoover; her sister Leola; her brother-in-law Harrison Taylor; her brothers, James Hoover (Mary) and Hodges Hoover; her daughter Pandora Dean; and her great grandchildren, Darion Collins and Lonnell Thomas Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Florence Merritt (Carl) of Chicago, IL, Loris Blue James and Doris Atkins (Earl) of Chebanse, IL; her stepchildren, Diana Doss (Michael) of Lynwood, IL and Lonzell Moore of Texas; and also James Watson (Lorraine). She is also survived by ses 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins.
