He was predeceased by: his parents, August Kohl and Irene Kohl (Matthews); his former wife Patricia Fields; and his half-brother Francis Kohl. He is survived by: his children, Mark Kohl (Betsy) and Krista Kohl (Travis Stucky); his siblings, Sharon Tomascewski (Gene), Eileen Hammond (Bill) of Kankakee, Barbara McKee and Norman Kohl (Melodie); his grandchildren, Mark, Heather Kohl, Jaxon, Arya and Sophia; and his fiancé Daryl Devlin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa Catholic Church (333 St Joseph Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Kankakee Catholic Food Pantry, St. John Paul II Parish.
