He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. MacGilvray and Mary Catherine MacGilvray (Andrews); his brother James R.; and his sister-in-law Paula MacGilvray. He is survived by: his brother John; and his sister-in-law Susan MacGilvray of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
