He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas and Emma Thomas (Burnett); his wife Ann Teague; his siblings, James Thomas, Joe Thomas Jr., Charles Thomas, Charlie Mae, Louise Simmons, Evelyn Thomas and Barbara Johnson; and his son Trent Watts.

He is survived by: his children, Ron Watts of Kankakee, Albert Thomas Jr. of Kankakee, Lynell (Carla Watts), Donnie Thomas of Las Vegas, NV, Valerie Mosby of Kankakee and Alesia Watts; his brother Fred (Annie Thomas); and his grandchildren, Michael Calvin, Shaiann Jones and Asia Mosby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
