He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Meyer and Velma Meyer; his wife Jane Meyer; his brother Hollis Meyer; and his great grandchild Kaia Cornwell.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Cornwell (Greg) and Tamra McNamara (Jeff Compton); his grandsons, Justin Cornwell (April), Adam Cornwell (Amanda), Aaron Cornwell, Ryan McNamara and Tyler McNamara (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Jace, Callie, Emerson McNamara, Miles, Cecilia and Emily Cornwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kankakee YMCA.
