He was predeceased by: his parents, Minor Gowin and Loretta Gowin; and his siblings, William Gowin, Garland "Red" Gowin, Diana McCauley, Juanita Lowrance, Doris Gowin, Joe Gowin and Jimmy Gowin.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria S. Rosales; his daughter Kim Stanley (Bryan) of Wood River, IL; his grandchildren, Luke Vidakovich (Myranda), Sara Vidakovich and Seth Stanley; and his great grandchildren, Dane, Dayton, Gedeon and Mari. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
