It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted G. Schumann Sr. (Kampsville, Illinois), who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schumann and Ethel Schumann (Follis); his wife Millie Retzer; his siblings, Harold Schumann (Dorothy), Deneen "Deaner" Schumann (Lela), Gloria "Sis" Becker (Gene) and Murial "Mackie" Spears (Ed); and his sister-in-law Betty Lorsbach McGinnis.

He is survived by: his children, Beverly Mosbarger (Terrill), Becky Weber (Mike) and Ted Jr. "Rusty" Schumann (Sonya); and his brother-in-law Otto Floyd Retzer (Linda). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Church, St. Anselm's Cemetery, or Kampsville American Legion Post 1083.
