It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zofia Zajac (Justice, Illinois), who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Stanley Zajac and Tadeusz Wachcinski; her son Stanislaw Wachcinski; her grandchildren, Mariusz Piwowarczyk and Agatha Bondaruk; her parents, Czeslawa Janicki and Boleslaw Janicki; and her siblings, Cecylia Klejszmit, Boleslaw Janicki, Wladyslawa Janicka, Helena Janz and Jadwiga Marszalek.
She is survived by: her children, Jerzy Wachcinski (Irena), Danuta Krawczyk (late Jozef), Krystyna Piwowarczyk (late Wladyslaw) and Theresa Bondaruk (Zdzislaw); and her grandchildren, Marek Krawczyk (Erin), Joanna Smyczek, Ilona Kiwitz (Bogdan), Marzena Kohn (Arthur), Agnes Russo, Ewa Wojtowicz, Aleksandra Piwowarczyk, Leszek Piwowarczyk (Asia) and Gregory Bondaruk (Anna). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
