He was predeceased by: his parents, Aniela Hyla and Wojciech Hyla; and his siblings, Wladyslawa Stachon (late Franciszek), Katarzyna Waszczyszak (late Piotr), Anna Kalafut (late Stanislaw), Maria Zieba (late Stanislaw), Antonina Michniak (late Czeslaw), Jan Hyla (late Bronislawa) and Jozef Hyla.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Hyla; his children, Janina Hyla and Wojciech Hyla (Beata); his granddaughters, Claudia Hyla and Julianna Hyla; and his siblings, Aniela Janos (late Jozef), Ludwika Mizgalska and Zofia Gasienica-Samek (late Stanislaw). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
