He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Ayres; his sons, William Ayres and Timothy Ayres; his parents, Grace Ayres and Thomas Ayres; and his sister Joan Riordan (late Thomas).
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Jr. Ayres (Cindy), Mark Ayres (Kathy), Michelle Chmelarik (Phillip), Wendy Ayres (Carla Patterson) and Mary Ayres (Ed Walker); and his grandchildren, Abigail Lojkutz, Scott, Kelli Ayres, Thomas, Samantha Collins, James, Felicia Ayres, Lauren, Anthony Ballard, Nicole, Christopher Jones, Kellie, John Solka and Anthony Collins. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
