He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Szwajnos and Jan Szwajnos; and his siblings, Bronislawa Zeglen (late Franciszek), Bronislaw Szwajnos (late Maria) and Stanislaw Szwajnos (late Aniela).
He is survived by: his wife Zofia Szwajnos; his child Wieslaw Szwajnos (Joanna); his grandchildren, Dawid Szwajnos (Sara) and Elizabeth Galik (Mariusz); his great grandchildren, Maksimillian Galik, Maja Galik, Sebastian Szwajnos and Anabella Szwajnos; and his sister Anna Fudala (late Tadeusz). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
