He is survived by: his wife Zofia (Zagata); his children, Theresa Tylka (Stan), Adam Janik and Katie Halm (Chris); his daughter-in-law Carolina Villalobos-Janik; and his brother Wladyslaw Janik (Maria).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A prayer was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Fabian Church (7450 W 83rd St, Bridgeview, IL 60455).
