She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Jirus; and her parents, James Murphy and Mildred Murphy. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Zack; her grandchildren, Stephanie Zack, Michael Zack, Amanda [Michael] Lesko and Kelsey [Scott] Kuehn; her great grandchildren, Liam Richard Lesko and River Rose Lesko; and her sisters, Claire and Kathleen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rosary Hill Home (9000 W 81st St, Justice, IL 60458). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
