In loving memory of Robert L. Baron (Justice, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who departed this world on December 3, 2024 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Baron and Helen Baron; his siblings, Diane Engel and Scotty Baron; his in-laws, Joseph and Sue Bobko; his siblings-in-law, Michael Bobko and Marmie Bobko; and his nephew Phillip Baron.

He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Baron; his sister-in-law Lynn Baron; his nieces and nephews, Dana Vorberg (William), Steven Baron, Jennifer Culnan and Brian Engel; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jake, Jess, Jordan Vorberg, Matthew Salter, Ethan Baron, Maggie Brown and Dylan Deinema (Brisa).

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.

Robert was a supporter of Wags 2 Wishes in Plainfield Illinois, so we ask donations be made to them in lieu of flowers, however flowers are welcome if you choose to do so.

Steve Buchholz wrote a sympathy message

“My name is Steven Buchholz, DPM. Bobby was a classmate of mine at ICPM. He was one of the most friendly and approachable classmates I can remember. We enjoyed each other’s company and often had fun times together. I didn’t get to see him often after graduation as I went back to California to practice. I was extremely proud to hear when he became the radiology professor at our Alma mater. He was a great man and well accomplished. My prayers are with his family. RIP Robert.”
