He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nowak and Janina Nowak; his daughter Monika (Damian Goral); and his grandchildren, Nadia and Markus.
He is survived by: his sisters, Kristine Maher (Michael) and Wanda Yuhas (Art); and his former wife Maria Nowak.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A committal service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:45 PM and from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20935 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
