He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Charles Schmitt and Madeline Patricia Malcolm; and his brother John Schmitt. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Shinstine (Paul) and Ronald Schmitt (Susan); and his nieces and nephews, Richard Hoggren, Eileen Smith, Ron Schmitt, Elisabeth Daly, Chris Shinstine, Brian Schmitt, Michael Shinstine, Krystal Schmitt, Rachel Schmitt, Sean Schmitt and Michael Shipka. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
With respect to State of Illinois Guidelines of Phase 4 during this time of Covid -19, the visitation is limited to 50 people or less at any time, we ask those attending to please keep one's visit brief to allow all to attend.
