He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi A. Bergren and Paul L. Bergren; and his sister Paulette Oost (late Jack). He is survived by: his spouse Gail Bergren; and his siblings, Charmaine Frias (late Daniel), Holly Przeniczny (Gerard), Judith Hastings (late Lawrence), Stephen Bergren (Victoria) and Janet Miskell (Michael). He is also survived by many relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Paul's name to the American Cancer Society.
