She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Flannigan and Robert Flannigan. She is survived by: her husband Waldemar Popielec; her children, Andrew Popielec, Christine Kozmel (Thomas) and Michael Popielec; and her siblings, Mary Kate Walsh and Patrick Flannigan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
