He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Zermeno and Edubijes Maria Zermeno. He is survived by: his daughter Maria Lisa Hirschfield (Lee); his grandchildren, Morgan E. Hirschfield (Kevin), Lindsay Hirschfield (Ryan) and David Hirschfield (Natalie); his siblings, Rose Lopez (Joe), Mary Larson, Carmen Ruiz and Salvador Zermeno; his niece Sylvia Ibarra Herrera; his sisters, Celia Ibarra (Ernesto) and Juanita Arias (Ralph); and his brother-in-law Bruce Larson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Mike's propensity for generosity knew no bounds, and it is this characteristic above all that will be his lasting contribution to the world.
