She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Tokar; and her parents, Cecile Marie and Bernard Joseph Tansey. She is survived by: her brother Brian Robert Tansey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She helped establish scholarships for Women in Architecture throught AOII Foundation and University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning.
