He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronislawa Plewa and Andrzej Plewa; and his brother Adam Plewa. He is survived by: his wife Helena Wontorczyk; his children, Andrzej Plewa (Barbara), Anna Wrobel (Robert) and Joanna Frankowski (Jacek); his grandchildren, Izabela Wrobel and Dominik Wrobel; and his siblings, Marian Plewa (Maria), Krystyna Korwel (late Marek), Maria Uchmanowicz (late Antoni), Barbara Truty (late Kazimierz), Danuta Pytlik (Piotr), Bronislawa Reintjens (Ton) and Bernadetta Szumal (Gabriel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
