He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Manuel A. Acevedo, Alejandra Canales, Franciso J. Acevedo and Marsha Katherine Acevedo; his grandchildren, Ayelen A. Acevedo, Daniela I. Acevedo, Amparo K. Acevedo, Ruben F. Acevedo, Marcel J. Acevedo and Sebastian Canales; his parents, Mercedes Samaniego and Inocencio Acevedo Hurtado; and his siblings, Martha Gomez, Ines Acevedo and Paulina Acevedo. He was also cherished by numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the attention of the family towards providing lunch to the staff at Advocate Christ Medical Center who took care of Manuel.
