It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jozef Plewa (Justice, Illinois), who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zofia Plewa and Jan Plewa; and his sister Antonina Bednarczyk (late Wladyslaw). He is survived by: his wife Maria Plewa; his children, Jan Plewa (Janina), Jadwiga Kawecki (Zenon) and Wojciech Plewa (Barbara); his grandchildren, Joanna Matulevicius (Aurimas), Boguslaw Plewa, Gabriela Plewa, Justyna Kawecka, Mariusz Kawecki (Agnieszka), Krzysztof Kawecki, Lukasz Plewa, Tomasz Plewa, Karolina Plewa, Anna Plewa and Aleksandra Plewa; his great grandchildren, Victoria Matulevicius, Julia Matulevicius and Emilia Plewa; and his sister Maria Janczy (late Franciszek). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
