He is survived by: his spouse Bronislawa Kij; his children, Janina Staszel (Wojciech), Wojciech Kij (Zofia), Jan Kij and Andrzej Kij; and his grandchildren, Dawid, Jakub, Albert, Adrian, Grzegorz, Julia, Izabela, Alicja and Natalia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
