He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kolodziejczak and Velma Kolodziejczak; his siblings, Mathias Koljack (Irene) and Richard Koljack (Helen); and his son-in-law Michael Lynch.

He is survived by: his spouse Bernadine; his children, Diane Turek (Norman), Joseph Kolodziejczak Jr., Suzanna Lynch, Velma Kolpacki (Gregory) and Dottie Beres; and his grandchildren, Jessica Kempiak (Gary), Melissa Cavenaile (Paul), Kristen Kolodziejczak (Brian), Joseph Kolodziejczak (Kelly), Michael Lynch (Catriona), Ashlie Martin (Jason), Sabrina Rakas (Greg), Gregory Kolpacki, Alexander Kolpacki (Allie), Loren Beres and Bianka Beres. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
