He was predeceased by: his parents, John W Rimkus and Harriet Rimkus; his sister Joyce VanRyck (late Charlie); and his father-in-law Joseph L Chodacki. He is survived by: his wife Diane Rimkus; his daughter Jennifer Rimkus Simon (Elliot); his sister Judith Hoerster (Ed); and his mother-in-law Stella. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, Godchildren.

Jack worked with American Cancer society to expand their walks to include bikes hence creating Walk and Roll.
