He is survived by: his wife Anna Szymczak; his daughters, Ola Szymczak and Sylvia Szymczak; his mother Helena Szymczak; and his siblings, Barbara Karczmarczyk (Wieslaw), Zbigniew Szymczak (Stanislawa) and Wieslaw Szymczak (Beata). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
