It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helena Las (Justice, Illinois), who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Jan Las; her parents, Anna Hajnos and Jan Hajnos; and her siblings, Maria Swiatek, Jozef Hajnos, Andrzej Hajnos, Jan Hajnos, Zofia Kawula and Franciszek Hajnos.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Peksa (late Stanislaw), Anna Sowa (Tadeusz), Stanislawa Dlugopolski (Tadeusz), Janina Sobczak (Jan), Marian Las (Janina), Zofia Szymusiak (Tadeusz), Jozef Las (Elzbieta) and Malgorzata Ryszkiewicz (Robert); and her sibling Katarzyna Hyrczyk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
With respect to State of Illinois Guidelines of Phase 4 during this time of Covid -19, the visitation is limited to 50 people or less at any time, we ask those attending to please keep one's visit brief to allow all to attend.
