He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helena Modla; his children, Robert, Edyta (Janusz) and Sabina (Andrzej); his grandchildren, Emma and Lukasz (Katarzyna); his parents, Malgorzata Modla and Franciszek Modla; and his siblings, Jakub (Leokadia) and Alina (Franciszek).
