It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elodia Gonzalez (Justice, Illinois), who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisca Arellano and Efren Arellano; and her siblings, Maria Lopez (late Jesse), Cora Ambriz (late Celso), Amelia Galvan (late Raul) and Alfred Arellano (late Lupe).
She is survived by: her husband Santiago "Jim" Gonzalez; her children, Raymond "Taco" Gonzalez (Glenda), Santiago Jr., Efren Gerard Gonzalez and Vincent Gonzalez (Sandra); her grandchildren, Nina Marie, Alejandro, Carlos, Amy, James "Jimmy", Jacob and Nicholas (Kati); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Adeline, Wyatt and Cole; and her siblings, Susana Tapia (late Daniel), Theresa Zamora (late Arnulfo) and Daniel Arellano (Donna). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
