He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Helfert; his father Daniel Helfert; and his stepchild Charlie Baker. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Helfert; his brothers, Donald and Dennis Helfert (Joanie); his children, Kimberly Harter (Jarrid) and Daniel Helfert; his stepchildren, Maryann Walls, Johnny Walls and Daniel Walls; and his nephews, Dennis (Kari), Dillon and Drake Helfert. He is also survived by five beautiful great-grandchildren.
