He was predeceased by: his grandson Dylan; his parents, Mary Lou and James Potter; and his siblings, Ann, Phyllis and Travis.

He is survived by: his wife Lillian Potter; his daughters, Christina Potter O'Malley (Kevin) and Sherry Traynor; his grandchildren, Zachary (Nikki), McKenzie, Nicole, Kevin, Matthew and Ronan; his great grandchild Raegan; and his brothers, Ray and Curtis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
