It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athena Peters (Justice, Illinois), who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Spyridon "Sam" Peters; her daughter Mary Peters; her stepson John Peters; her grandchild Spiro Sullivan (Kristen); and her parents, Dimitrios Vlahakis and Thomai Vlahakis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
