He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Bronislawa Stekala; his child Karol Stekala (Renata); his grandchildren, Elzbieta Stekala, Teresa Stekala, Karol Stekala and Anna Stekala; his parents, Franciszka Stekala and Jan Stekala; and his siblings, Zofia Szwab (Jan), Janina Knapczyk, Maria Krupa (Edward) and Anna Glista (late Karol). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
