He is survived by: his children, Jan Lowisz (Zofia) and Stanislaw Lowisz (Halina); his grandchildren, Malgorzata, Krzysztof, Andrzej, Katarzyna, Barbara and Marek; his great grandchildren, Lena, Emil and Izabela; and his siblings, Maria Folfas and Bronislawa Filimek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
