He is survived by: his wife Maria Gawlak; his children, Barbara Zieba (Marcin), Anita Bzdyk (Piotr) and Marcin Gawlak; his grandchildren, Victoria Zieba, Evelyn Zieba and Jacob Bzdyk; his father Tadeusz Gawlak-Homernik; and his sisters, Anna Para (Janusz) and Anna Gierczynski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
