She was predeceased by: her husband Jozef Leja; her parents, Antonina Bienias and Karol Bienias; and her siblings, Jan Bienias, Maria Bienias, Wladyslaw Bienias (late Zofia), Andrzej Bienias (Agnieszka) and Jozef Bienias (Maria).
She is survived by: her children, Maria Plewa (Jan), Jan Leja and Zofia Jaronczyk (Adam); her grandchildren, Anna Leja, John Plewa, Alicja Bukowski (Andrzej), Piotr Leja, Zofia Leja, Mateusz Jaronczyk and Brian Leja; and her great grandchild Ola Bukowska. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
