He was predeceased by: his parent Martin; his brothers, Robert Mills and Richard Mills; his sister-in-law JoAnn Mills; his brother Stanley Mills (Phyllis Mills); and his son-in-law Harvey Perrine.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Kathleen Perrine of Davenport, Valerie Thorne of Parkersburg, Brian Mills (Karen) of New Boston and Timothy Mills (Sally) of Ankeny, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kevin Perrine (Rachel), Allison Reilly (Stephen), Gwendolyn, Eli Thorne, Joanna Brewer (Kris), Doug Mills (Megan), Jared and Lauren Mills; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Mills of St. Augustine and Roger Allen (Nancy) of Montezuma; and his cousin Diane LaBounty Hammond of Nashua, Iowa.. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Buffalo Prairie Church Missions or the Eliza American Legion.
