It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Florence Kokos of Joy, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 92, on January 15, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burr Hawkins and Laura Hawkins (Strawhacker); her spouse Dean Kokos; and her siblings, Bertha, Mary Ann, Gene and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Lee of Joy, IL, Pamela (Mike Diveney), Jim (Tonya Kokos) and Marilyn Staley of Aledo; and her brother Lester "Buck" Hawkins of Wapello. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Speer Funeral Home (2502 SE 3rd St, Aledo, IL 61231).
