With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene G. Shotwell of Joy, Illinois, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Thomas and Grace Thomas (Kennedy); her husband Ronald L. Shotwell (Ron) of New Boston, IL; and her daughter-in-law Jana. She is survived by: her children, Richard and Sharon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Joy Fire Department, or Community of Christ Church.
