Joyce Windhorst Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Windhorst of Joppa, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Anderson and Grace Anderson (Harris); her husband Howard Windhorst; and her siblings, Kathleen Laird, Charles Anderson and Eugene Anderson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Lee Windhorst and Everett Dale Windhorst (Carol Ann); her grandsons, Anthony Dale Windhorst (Misty) and Eric Lee Windhorst; and her great grandchild Sophie Blanche Windhorst.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Loftus-McManus Funeral Homes Inc. (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960).
