He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Rice and Sarah "Saggie" Rice; his sons, Bobby Rice and Brian Graves; and his siblings, Mary Rice, Sue Fletcher, Thomas W. "Ced" Rice, John Rice and Robert "Bob" Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Rice, John Rice and Thomas Rice; and his grandchildren, Brian Matthew Baker, Vincent Paul Rice, Aubrey Dianne Rice, Breana McMahan, Kelli Yongue and Nickolas Kitchen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
