He is survived by: his wife Joyce Windhorst (Anderson); his sons, Everett Dale Windhorst (Carol Ann) and Michael Lee Windhorst; his grandsons, Anthony Dale Windhorst (Misty) and Eric Lee Windhorst; and his great grandchild Sophie Blanche Windhorst.
Memorial contributions may be given in Howard's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
