He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Jackson and Lucille Jackson (Barker); his daughter Kim; and his siblings, Richard, Ronald, Dorothy Davis and Wanda Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jones (Dawes) of Jonesboro; his children, Kenneth Jackson (Jennifer) of Bathalto and Cynthia Billings (Craig) of Dow; the mother of his children Jane Nimmo (Gary) of Godfrey; his stepdaughters, Debi Barnett (Mike) of Lake and Amy Schott (Jonathan) of St. Louis, MO.; his granddaughter Libby Spicer (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Kayden, Kailey, Korbin and Karson of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Hunter Billings (Lily) of Godfrey and Megan Jackson (Adam Stewart); his great grandchild Archie of Alton; his grandchildren, Cort Jackson (Abby Veitch) of Granite City and Travis Barnett of Denver, CO.; his siblings, Roger Jackson of Anna, Doris Whiteside (Wayne) of Dongola and Pam Gee of Carterville; and his sister-in-law Linda R. Jackson of Karbers Ridge, IL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He would love for all memorials to go to the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455, VFW in his memory as it was such an important part of his life for over 55 years.
