He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Louis and Lois Evelyn Thady (Sawyer); and his son Donald Steven Thady. He is survived by: his wife Joy Elaine Thady of Jonesboro; his children, Kathy Sue VanValKenburgh (Steven) and Randall Jay Thady (Dale Marie); his grandson Evan Paige Chastain (Jefferson); and his great grandchildren, Ellyette and Julia Kate. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jonesboro Cemetery. The military honors was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
