He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Nelson and Velma Nelson; his siblings, Merle Widner and Barb Haywood; and his in-laws, LeRoy Haywood and Ginger Nelson.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jack and Richard Nelson (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey Memorial Chapels - New Lenox (2100 Calistoga Dr, New Lenox, IL 60451).
