She is survived by: her mother Violet Ann Brooks; her children, Sherree Brooks and Latoya Brooks; her grandchildren, Natavia Duke, Mya Smith, John Duke, Jalyiah Lee and Jayla Lee; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Coats and Landon Helms; her husband Eugene Jones; her son Eugene Jones, Jr. (S. Marines); her siblings, Sherry Barnes, Tina Brooks, Valerie Brooks, Wilbert Brooks (Sonny), Terrance Brooks and Padre Brooks; and her close friend Cynthia Bailey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Word of Life Church (1500 Cedarwood Dr, Crest Hill, IL 60403). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Elmhurst Cemetery (1212 E Washington St, Joliet, IL 60433).
