He is survived by: his children, Dominick Washington and Tara Morrow-Gatlin (Willie Gatlin); his grandchildren, Tiara Washington and Cole Gatlin; his siblings, Ruby Joyce Baker, Charles Washington, Greg Washington, Sheila Washington and Gary Washington (Kathy); his cousin Bobby Turner; and his daughter Denice Osborne. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church (104 E Zarley Blvd, Joliet, IL 60433). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
